Bayern Munich could be about to send another young player to Switzerland. Lucas Scholl is with FC Luzern training this winter ahead of a potential move, according to this report from Blick.

Scholl made the bench regularly under Pep Guardiola during the great injury crisis of the 2014-15 season. However, since that time, he’s found himself relegated to the reserves at best. This season he’s mostly been with the U19s.

It would appear that the 20 year old is willing to take his chances in Switzerland, becoming the second Bayern player to make that trip. Last winter, Gianluca Gaudino left Bayern to join St. Gallen on an 18 month loan. That loan will expire this summer. With his contract expiring in 2018, it would be surprising to see Gaudino return to Munich.

Former Stuttgart, Hertha Berlin, and Hoffenheim coach Markus Babbel is currently the head coach at Luzern. The club currently sits fourth in the table in a UEFA Europa League place.
