With the international break finally coming to an end, Bayern Munich will return to the field on Friday against Schalke. The Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen will be packed for Bayern’s second consecutive Friday night game to start the season.

The squad is starting to to grow into full fitness with Arjen Robben, Renato Sanches, and Douglas Costa likely to be available for selection against Schalke. The only holdout is Jerome Boateng, as the world’s best centerback is still working on his comeback.

Sanches could see his debut in the starting lineup for Carlo Ancelotti’s team. With Arturo Vidal likely not returning to Munich until late Thursday, it’s unlikely that Ancelotti will use the Chilean for all ninety minutes on Friday.

We asked three of our writers to predict what lineup Ancelotti will play against Schalke.
