It was the Bayern Munich show for Germany today in Oslo. The world champs rolled to a 3-0 victory on the back of two goals from Thomas Müller and one from Joshua Kimmich. It was the first match of World Cup Qualifying as Germany look to defend their title that they won in Brazil.
Germany should make rather light work of a group consisting of Norway, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Northern Ireland, and San Marino. With a big victory to start their qualifying campaign, Germany are well on their way.
Thomas Müller’s brace moves him into a tie with Ulf Kirsten for 11th on Germany’s all time goal scoring list. Four more goals will see Müller enter the top ten. Will he ever reach number one? Miroslav Klose is sitting on 71! goals.
Müller started the scoring in the 15th minute with your typical, scrappy Müller goal.

This fantastic team goal was Kimmich’s first ever in a Germany shirt. Kimmich, folks, is undoubtedly Germany’s right back moving forward.
HT: Norway 0, Germany 2. Kimmich's 1st career international goal doubled the lead just before the break. #NORGER https://t.co/B5itfzGOE4

Then, to cap the scoring, Müller pops up with this fantastic header from a Sami Khedira cross.

The only other thing to take away from the game is this: Manuel Neuer has better skill on the ball than your favorite midfielder.
