Perhaps another manager may make a bold choice or two to try and get a result on the road against perhaps the best defense in the world. Carlo Ancelotti does not mess around like that.
The new Bayern manager has decided to field the same team he selected against Hertha Berlin. Xabi Alonso, Jerome Boateng, Franck Ribery and Arturo Vidal return after starting the weekend match against Hamburg on the bench.

Mats Hummels starts on the bench after injuring his knee against Hamburg over the weekend. Boateng gets the start instead, making his second start of the season after returning to fitness. Javi Martinez returns as well having already started every game this season in defense.
Pep Guardiola mixed things up a bit in the first leg of the Champions League semifinal in April. Ancelotti has decided to keep the same shape he’s used all season, one that has helped him win eight straight games to start his Bayern career.
