Following Bayern Munich's cup triumph over Borussia Dortmund in Berlin last May, the club will be honored by the the German FA (DFB). In honor of their 2016 Pokal final victory, Bayern Munich will wear special badges on their sleeve (on their current kits) in all of their matches during this season’s German knockout football cup competition.

The badge is 85.995 x 116.2 mm and replaces the usual DFB Cup sleeve logo.  The badge will be a gold version of the new logo with "DFB-POKALSIEGER 2016" beneath it.

As you can see, the new badge looks excellent on Bayern's jerseys. This is the first season that the DFB will have the cup winners wear a different badge than the other teams in the competition.

The Bavarians will get their first opportunity to wear the new badge on Friday in their DFB Pokal First Round match against Regionalliga side Carl Zeiss Jena.
