Bayern Munich announced today that Spanish midfielder Veronico Boquete has left the club to sign with Paris Saint-Germain. Vero was signed to a two year deal with Bayern, but she reached an agreement with the club to move to the Parisian club.
Vero made a highly publicized move to Bayern last summer from FFC Frankfurt, but she spent the majority of the season injury, only tallying 340 minutes. Her time on the field in Munich can only be described as a disappointment due solely to the injury. Had she been able to play for Bayern from the start, the club probably could have done real damage in the Champions League.
However, Bayern has already made moves to help address any potential depth issues that the club would be facing next season. Anna Gerhardt, Simone Laudehr, and Stefanie van der Gragt were signed to the club at the beginning of the summer ahead of another busy season.
My time in Munich & Germany has come to an end. I'm not a Bayern
