Bayern Munich will take part in their second game in the International Champions Cup on Saturday afternoon when they face the other Milan club, Inter Milan. On Wednesday, Bayern drew 3-3 with AC Milan before falling on penalties.

While most of the regulars are still out following Euro 2016, Carlo Ancelotti will be looking for one thing and one thing only in the game: solid play. Players are trying to earn their spots in the squad in these games. Ancelotti wants to see effort and skill in these matches. Once the club gets back to Munich, he’ll begin looking for fine-tuning.

What are you looking for in this match? Julian Green needs to continue to show that he’s worthy of a spot in the first team squad throughout the season. These games are also important for Xabi Alonso to show Ancelotti that, despite his age and the miles on his legs, he can still go.
