Who will face Germany in the Semifinals?

Following the last calendar year in the country of France,it wouldn’t be difficult to see people rallying behind the country to see them lift the European Championship at home. Underdogs, however, seem to always draw the eye of the neutral fan. Enter: Iceland.

The Icelandic side bested England in the Round of 16 to make it to the Quarterfinals of Euro 2016. With no individual star power, Iceland have turned the team into the star and are a serious threat to knock the hosts off their perch and find themselves in a semifinal against the mighty Germans.

Kingsley Coman will likely be a second half substitute for Didier Deschamps side when he turns to speed to be a game changer in the contest. Coman has performed very well in his first major international tournament and is a bright spot for France to build on for the future. Remember: He just turned 20 last month.

This is another match in which, on paper, France should easily beat Iceland. However, Iceland has proven that the games are played on the field.
