Bayern Munich have released their full squad list for who will and won’t be traveling to the United States on Monday for the club’s tour of the USA and International Champions Cup matches. The Euro stars are still out, but nearly everyone else is along for the ride.
David Alaba, Arturo Vidal, and Thiago Alcantara are back from their summer tournaments and will be the headliners for Bayern in the Audi Summer Tour 2016. Other Bayern stars Philipp Lahm, Franck Ribery, Xabi Alonso, and Javi Martinez are along for the ride, too.
Like Pep Guardiola before him, Carlo Ancelotti is bringing a number of youth players on the trip to continue to observe their progression in first team training. The standout of the bunch is obviously goalkeeper Christian Früchtl. Timothy Tillman, Niklas Dorsch, and Fabian Benko are also ones to keep an eye on in the trip.
Bayern will be playing AC Milan at Soldier Field in Chicago on July 27, Inter Milan at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on July 30, and Real Madrid at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on August 3.
