Bayern Munich may have lost in the Merkur Cup Final (1-0 to 1860 Munich), but that didn’t stop one member of the club’s U11 side from truly shining in the competition. His name is Kenan Yildiz.
Yildiz was Bayern’s star in the competition creating for his teammates and grabbing goals of his own. The young kid showed great skill on the ball and looks like a potential star for the future.
Obviously, you need to take what happens in a U11 tournament with a grain of salt, but it is certainly fun to watch could very well be the future of Bayern in action.
The club is building a modern, multi-million Euro facility in order to turn the very good youth academy into the world’s best youth academy. Hopefully, Yildiz will be part of that future.
