The 2016 Copa America has finally arrived. The best and brightest of North American and all of South American football will grace the stage as they fight for right to lift the Copa America Centenario.

Really they're fighting for the right to grab as much cash as possible from US spectators and television rights, but hey who are we to judge when it gives us more high end soccer to watch! Except Brazil who've decided it's fine to come to the Copa America without their best player or most of attacking line because the 2016 Rio Olympics are somehow more important. Also they injured Douglas Costa so no pity.

United States vs. Colombia

Location: Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara, CA

Time: 6:30pm local time, 9:30pm ET

The USA earned the right to host the 2016 Copa America by virtue of having the biggest economy in the world. As the host they get us started off with the key match of their entire group. Colombia is lead by the likes Real Madrid's James Rodriguez and Juventus' Juan Cuadrado and are one of the deadliest teams in the competition.

For the USA's part, this is their chance to make a major stand on the world stage. The presence of so many world football powerhouses in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico (Brazil doesn't count this time around) lends this competition the credibility upon which the United States can truly test how far they've come since Jurgen Klinsmann became head coach.

Players to watch: James Rodriguez has been linked to Bayern Munich on and off with the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti. A good tournament could spell a resurgence of form that may be what Bayern nened to go after him.

Christian Pulisic and John Anthony Brooks for the USA crashed into the Bundesliga with aplomb this last season. Brooks in particular was rumored to be one of two players on Bayern's shortlist when they went out and nabbed Serdar Tasci to serve as centerback depth in their dire depth emergency in January.
