Argentina's long trophy drought may soon be over. Four of our eight voters are tipping Lionel Messi and company to finish on top at Copa America 2016, snapping a 23-year trophy drought -- assuming you don't count their 2006 Olympic Gold medal. This is the time for a nation that's finished second best in three of the last four major tournaments they've participated in.
Standing in their way though is Chile: their partners in Group D, the reigning Copa America champions, and a side perfectly suited to shutting down Argentina's most potent weapons.
But neither side may be ready for the support and power Mexico wields in the United States where every match is a home game as seemingly daunting as a visit to the confines of the Estadio Azteca.
