We’re coming down to the final days of the group stage. Group’s E and F are on the plate. Can Austria pull off a win over Iceland while can Portugal overcome surprise group leaders Hungary? Group F is decidedly less open.

Austria vs Iceland

Location: Stade de France, Saint-Denis, France

Time: 6:00pm local time, 12:00pm ET

Austria put together two rather abysmal performance against Hungary and Portugal and now sit at the bottom of Group F. They need strong performances from their midfield and especially David Alaba if they’re going to make the knockouts. On the other side of the fence, Iceland are tough, stalwart defenders and good in possession. Breaking them down is going to be a tough ask.

Portugal vs. Hungary

Location: Stade de Lyon, France

Time: 6:00pm local time, 12:00pm ET

Can Portugal’s talisman recover from the embarassing penalty shot he sent off the post against Austria to push his team above an unlikely group leader in Hungary? Really the answer should be yes but as with all things Portugal this is going to be dramatic one way or another.

Italy vs. Republic or Ireland

Location: Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Lille, France

Time: 9:00pm local time, 3:00pm ET

Italy are through. This is a pride match for Italy. The Irish are 9/10s in the grave but an unlikely win could see them vault into into the third place spot

Sweden vs Belgium

Location: Stade de Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France

Time: 9:00pm local time, 3:00pm ET

Yeah, this game has Zlatan. So you should probably watch it because odds are something ridiculous will happen and you’ll want to tell your children you were watching.
