Today marks the beginning of the end for the group stage at Euro 2016. There are only two matches today, and they’re both being played at the same time as Group A winds up action. Those matches are Switzerland vs. France and Romania vs. Albania.
Switzerland vs. France (Group A)
The hosts have the opportunity to go for three wins out of three when they play Switzerland in Lille. France will clinch first place in the group as long as they get a result, but Didier Deschamps will be hoping to push his side to take all three points for some momentum heading into the knockout rounds. It’s likely that Bayern Munich starlet Kingsley Coman starts the match from the bench as Deschamps puts out what he believes is his strongest possible eleven.

Romania vs. Albania (Group A)
There’s still hope for both of these teams to advance to the knockout rounds at this year’s European Championship. With the top four third place teams advancing, hope remains until the final day. If Romania can win, they will assuredly be in the knockout stages this year, while Albania will need a few other results to go their way to guarantee a spot in the next stage.
