France vs. Albania
Location: Stade Velodrome, Marseille, France
Time: 9:00pm local time, 3:00pm ET
France opened the tournament with a dramatic 90th minute winner against Romania, but they be out to show their power against a defensively stout, yet offensively suspect Albania. There was no doubt France looked the better side late in the second half with Kingsley Coman set to stretch the Romanian defense wide. His inclusion may be what’s necessary to get France the group win they need against Albania while Antoine Greizmann’s flair and ability may be what ultimately earns them a trip deep in the competition.
Romania vs Switzerland
Location: Parc des Princes, Paris, France
Time: 6:00pm local time, 12:00pm ET
Granit Xhaka is going to Arsenal so there’s basically no reason to root for Switzerland anymore because what good does welling up painful memories of Xherdan Shaqiri do anybody? Romania had France on the ropes on occasion and put on a display that many did no expect. Will they be able to repeat the feat against a Swiss side that’s deep with talented and creative players but short on experience?
Russia vs Slovakia
Location: Stade Pierre Mauroy, Lille, France
Time: 3:00pm local time, 9:00am ET
Russia is gross. They’re a profoundly boring side to watch and their fans have put a permanent stain on the early proceedings of Euro 2016. Just root against them at all costs right now.
