Thiago Alcantara makes Spain’s final squad for UEFA EURO 2016

The Spaniard has been named to Vicente Del Bosque’s final squad for the European Championship.

Spain have named their 23-man squad for the upcoming EURO 2016, and Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara has made the cut.

Having won the competition two times in a row, La Furia Roja are targeting a European hat-trick in this year’s tournament in France.

Spain has one final tune-up match against Georgia on June 7 at Getafe in Spain before leaving for France for the Euros.

Spain are in Group D where they will play Czech Republic on June 13 at Stadium Municipal in Toulouse, Turkey on June 17 at Allianz Riviera in Nice, and Croatia on June 21 at Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux in Bordeaux.

The UEFA Euro 2016 tournament will take place in France from June 10-July 10.
