Robert Lewandowski scored 30 goals during the 2015-16 season for Bayern Munich. Not only was this the highest total of his career, but it was the first time any player in the Bundesliga had hit the mark in 39 years!
There were many notable moments throughout the season from the Lewandowski, but the crowning achievement was certainly the five goals in nine minutes performance against VfL Wolfsburg. It must be remember that Lewandowski didn't even start the match, coming on as a second half substitute.
Lewandowski's following matches against Mainz and Borussia Dortmund weren't too shabby either. The Poland striker finished those three matches with nine goals and was one of the key reasons that he became the first non-German to hit the 30 goals mark in the Bundesliga.
The Bundesliga have released a video featuring all thirty goals on their YouTube page. Enjoy.
Thirty goals is a lot. Can you narrow your favorite to just one? Which was it?
