Robert Lewandowski powered home a header in the 75th minute to put Bayern Munich up 2-1 and pull them level on aggregate. However, Antoine Griezmann's earlier away goal means that, without another Bayern goal, Atletico Madrid will advance to the final if the score holds.
The goal came from a deep cross to the far corner which Arturo Vidal won against Filipe Luis. His header to the opposite corner was right to a streaking Lewandowski, and the big striker put it into the back of the net to give Bayern hope.
Griezmann's earlier goal didn't quiet the crowd, but it certainly dampened the spirits of everyone in the Allianz Arena. However, Lewandowski's goal has breathed life into everyone, and now the Bavarians need only one more goal.
It's on! Lewandowski has Bayern sniffing at another comeback in the #UCL knockout stage. Can Atletico hold on? https://t.co/rFcezEzHfu
