Shortly after Xabi Alonso sent Bayern Munich up 1-0 with a great free kick, Bayern were awarded a penalty with the hopes of going up 2-0. Thomas Müller stepped up to the penalty area to take the spot kick, and it wasn't a good penalty.

Jan Obalek made the relatively easy save on Müller's weak penalty and then blocked Alonso's follow-up on the rebound to keep the Atleti deficit at only one goal.

Bayern have played a near perfect first half with only the one goal speaks to Atleti's intense dedication to defense. The La Liga club have one of the best defenses in the world, and they're determined to show everyone at the Allianz Arena just how hard it is to beat them.

Will Müller's missed penalty come back to haunt Bayern?
