Champions League 2016: What Bayern Munich needs to do in order to advance

Here's what it will take for Bayern to play in the Final.

Falling 1-0 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Semifinal against Atletico Madrid wasn't ideal, but it doesn't end Bayern Munich's tournament. In Tuesday's second leg, the Bavarians have the opportunity to put the past behind them and advance to their first Final since 2013.

Being unable to grab an away despite the many chances has put Bayern in a small bind. They will have to score at least once and not concede any goals to push the tie to extra time. Any two goal win sends Bayern through in regulation. If Atleti manage to score one goal, Bayern will need at least three to advance.

As hosts, Bayern goals are listed on the y-axis. Atleti goals are represented on the x-axis.

The tie isn't finished by any means, and the Bavarians will be targeting a big victory at the Allianz Arena to advance to the Final.
