Bayern have reported that Mario Gotze will miss the DFB Pokal Final set to be played tomorrow at 2:00 pm EST in Berlin due to a Broken Rib.

According to a statement on fcb.de, Götze suffered the injury during the Hannover game last week and received treatment every single day this week in hopes of a quick recovery. Unfortunately, it was determined before todays final practice that he wouldn't be able to make it back in time. The attacking midfielder will be out for 10-14 days, meaning he'll be ready to go for this summers Euro.

With all the rumors swirling around recently that have Götze leaving the club for England (likely Liverpool) or Dortmund, in addition to Ancelotti apparently telling him his situation won't change under the new coaching regime, it'll be interesting to see if Götze has played his last game in a Bayern uniform. If he did, he certainly went out with a bang. 2 goals and a great 90 minute shift against Hannover in a beer bath last Sunday will have been a great send off for the 23-year-old.
