Just perfect. After the triumphs in 1976 and 2015, Bayern Munich Frauen added another title triumph to their story after hitting five goals past Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday. A crowd of around 800 people gathered at the Grunwalder Stadium to assist to Bayern's dominant performance and the eventual celebrations. Vivianne Miedema and Mana Iwabuchi made it 2-0 in a span of two minutes between the 25th and 27th minute. After the interval, Miedema recorded a personal hat trick as she added another couple of goals while Sara Dabritz wrapped up the victory 10 minutes from time to initiate the championship party at the Stadium.

Coach Thomas Worle replaced Carina Wenninger and Eunice Beckmann, who is leaving the club at the end of the season for a NWSL club with Mana Iwabuchi and Lisa Evans. Against all odds, it was the away side who started brightly, but as time went by, Bayern started to dictate tempo and pace of the match before eventually they forged ahead. It was a typical scenario for Bayern, as this year Worle adapted a more cautious approach to the games, which sometimes led to slender advantages. However, that also shifted lot of responsibility on the backline whom this year did a great job in transmitting composure and leadership.
Throughout the season, there was the sensation that this team was getting better match after match, and without doubt, the next target for the club will be to be more competitive on European soil, in an attempt to emulate FFC Frankfurt and VfL Wolfsburg's triumphs in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
Stay tuned with Bavarian Football Works in the upcoming days as we will be posting more reports together with reactions and photos from Bayern's celebrations. Moreover, we will be getting you the latest rumours and news about who will be departing and who will be signing with the club!
