Diego Godin returns to Atletico Madrid squad to face Bayern Munich

Diego Godin will be joining the Atletico Madrid side that is traveling to the Allianz Arena to face Bayern Munich. Tuesday's Champions League clash between the two sides will be a test of wills, with Atleti holding a slim 1-0 advantage.

Head coach Diego Simeone is bringing an absolute full squad with them to Munich. While Godin and midfielder Yannick Carrasco were cleared to return to the field from their injuries, Tiago Mendes has not been cleared but is making the trip anyway.

We'll have to wait and see if Simeone trusts Godin's healthy enough to start him against Bayern, but he may make an appearance if Atleti's trying to seal a late victory.
