Portugal coach Fernando Santos has included newly Bayern Munich signing midfielder Renato Sanches for his 23-man squad for Euro 2016. The 18-year-old received a place in the squad after Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva was injured last weekend.

Portugal are due to gather in Lisbon on Monday and will play three friendlies against Norway on May 29, England on June 2, and Estonia on June 8 before leaving for France on June 9.

Portugal are in Group F where they will play Iceland on June 14 at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Étienne, Austria on June 18 at Parc des Princes in Paris, and Hungary on June 22 at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon.

The UEFA EURO 2016 will take place in France from June 10 – July 10.
