Thomas Müller scored his 20th goal of the season in the sixth minute of Bayern Munich's match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Müller won the corner and then won the header leading to the goal. Initial reports were that Serdar Tasci touched it last, but the replays showed that he never made contact with the ball.
Twenty goals is by far the most that Müller has ever scored in a single Bundesliga season. Before this season, Müller hit thirteen goals on four different occasions. He also has scored 31 goals in all competitions, the most of his career.
The goal put Müller and Robert Lewandowski on a combined goal total of 47 in the Bundesliga this season, which makes them the seventh highest scoring duo in Bundesliga history.
Thomas Muller ends up getting the credit for his 21st goal of the season as Bayern take the early lead vs Gladbach. https://t.co/Wk1ll2pIdK
