Bayern Munich have already been planning for the beginning of the Carlo Ancelotti era at the club. CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently spent some time with the Italian in Milan to discuss next season, while Michael Reschke has been flying around the continent to scout players for the future.
The Technical Director was recently in France catching a Ligue 1 game between OGC Nice and Reims. His target, according to Kicker, was Nice forward Hatem Ben Arfa. Reschke was witness to the 29 year old's 17th league goal in 31 games this season.
Ben Arfa will be a free agent this summer, having only a signed a one year deal with Nice last summer. If Bayern decide to move for the Frenchman, there would be no transfer fee involved for his services.
Ben Arfa is currently up for Ligue 1 player of the season having helped Nice to fourth in the table. His opponents for the award are Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Angel Di Maria, and Lassana Diarra.
