Arturo Vidal has revealed in an interview with ESPN that he wants to end his career with Bayern Munich. He also talks about what it would mean to win the UEFA Champions League this season with Bayern.
In the summer of 2011, Bayern tried to bring Vidal, then at Bayer Leverkusen, to the Allianz Arena. Vidal ended up at Juventus at the end, where he spent four seasons becoming one of the world's best midfielders. However, Vidal looks at his time at Juventus as a building block to something bigger and better.
"Thanks to all the effort I have put in over time I'm now at the best team in the world. I hope to remain here until I retire."
Dubbed King Arturo in Italy, Vidal knows the pain that losing a UEFA Champions League Final brings. Like many Bayern players during the 2012-13 season, there's one thing on his mind. "It's revenge. Revenge and a dream I have."
Bayern will play the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Semifinal in Spain against Atletico Madrid.
