Franck Ribery has still got it. The French international score this breathtaking goal for Bayern Munich against Eintracht Frankfurt to give Bayern the 1-0 lead twenty minutes into the match.
Mario Götze dribbled unimpeded up the middle of the park and ripped a shot toward the Frankfurt goal. Lukas Hradecky made a foot save, sending the ball back out of the box. Unfortunately for him, Ribery is one of the world's greatest player. Leaving his feet, Ribery sweetly struck the ball with a bicycle/overhead kick that found the net and brought the Allianz Arena to their feet.
With Arjen Robben and Kingsley Coman out of today's match, Bayern needed to see a good performance out of Ribery heading into Wednesday's Champions League match against Benfica. Certainly, they weren't expecting this!
WOW! Bayern Munich take the 1-0 lead on Frankfurt through a wonder goal from Franck Ribery! 1-0 #FCBSGE https://t.co/tsvVfcQDzL
