The two clubs that have lifted the DFB Pokal trophy more times than anyone else take the field on Tuesday with a trip to another final on the line. Bayern Munich have lifted the cup 17 teams while Werder Bremen have 6 to their name.
For Bayern, it's a very simple game plan. If Pep Guardiola's side can keep their heads and stay focused on the task at hand, they should be celebrating at the end of the day. On Werder's side, former Bayern legend Claudio Pizarro has kept Father Time at bay for another season and is ready to capitalize on any mistakes to see them through to the next round.
Last season, Bayern had their hearts broken in a penalty shootout loss, at home, to Borussia Dortmund. You can fully expect Bayern to come out determined to not let this one go all the way to spot kicks. You win and advance, or you lose and go home. Bayern have to win this game.
Once the lineups are released, this thread will be updated.
