Thomas Müller scored Bayern Munich's second goal of the day against Benfica to put the Bavarians up 2-1. The goal gives Bayern a 3-1 aggregate lead, meaning that Benfica has to score three goals to advance.
The goal came about on a corner kick (!) from Xabi Alonso. His long ball to the back post was met by the head of Javi Martinez. Instead of shooting, Martinez headed the ball back across the face of the goal into the waiting boot of Müller.
The goal is Müller's 29th in all competitions and 8th in the Champions League during the 2015-16 season. Another big goal in a big game coming from Müller.
