Jurgen Klopp is fighting back!

Reports out of England and Germany suggest that Klopp has lured Bayern head fitness coach Andreas Kornmayer over to the Merseyside where he will replace current Liverpool fitness coach Dr. Ryland Morgans at the start of the 2016/17 season. Kornmayer, 41, has been with Bayern for over ten years, serving the last six as head fitness trainer under Louis van Gaal, Jupp Heynckes, and now Pep Guardiola.

The reports state that Klopp has long been a big fan of Kronmayer, saying "Don't forget, the 2013 treble-winning team of Bayern was unbelievably strong and they had all their players fit until the end." Thomas Müller also once joked that Kronmayer turned him from a "slow snail into a fast snail."

The loss comes at a time when Bayerns medical/fitness staff is already in a less than optimal place. With the events that transpired last season between Guardiola and Müller-Wohlfart, another wound to an already bleeding medical staff is something Bayern didn't need. Hopefully, Carlo Ancelotti and the rest of the Bayern higher-ups can identify an adequate replacement sooner rather than later.
