Germany returns to the field on Tuesday in a friendly against Italy. Following their embarrassing capitulation against England over the weekend, Jogi Löw's side will be looking to get back on track against the Italians. With only a couple of friendlies remaining before this summer's European Championship, it's paramount that the Germans figure out their plan.
With Manuel Neuer out of the match with a stomach bug, the only remaining Bayern Munich representation is just Thomas Müller and Mario Götze. It's likely that both players will play some part against Italy. Though, it should be noted that against England, the two Germany goalscorers were former Bayern players Toni Kroos and Mario Gomez.
Overall, yes, the match means absolutely nothing. However, if you're Löw, you'd prefer to not be heading into the pre-Euro friendlies having been unable to beat teams that are going to France in friendlies.
