He'll join on one condition.

There are only two clubs that Romelu Lukaku should consider joining this summer: Manchester United and Bayern Munich. That is according to the player's father who spoke to Het Laatste Nieuws‏ about his son's future. He is, however, very blunt about the only way he would join Bayern.

"Bayern Munich is a machine where he can rotate well," the senior Lukaku said. "The only condition is if Robert Lewandowski leaves."

For his part, Romelu was quick to play damage control with the things his father was saying in the press. "That is my dad's point of view; I think those are the teams he likes," he told Sky Sports. However, he insisted that he wants to leave Everton in search of Champions League football. "That is the next step for me. I'm 23 next summer and I think it would be nice to play in the Champions League from next season."

At the beginning of March, Bayern technical director Michael Reschke was reportedly in Birmingham to watch a match between Everton and Aston Villa. The fact that Reschke was willing to sit through an Aston Villa match shows that their interest in Lukaku is legitimate. In that match, Lukaku scored his 17th goal of the Premier League season becoming the first Everton player to reach that mark in the EPL-era.

If (and that's a big if) Lewandowski were to leave Bayern this summer, where would Lukaku rank in your list of replacements? If Bayern started next season with a front attacking three of a 23 year old Lukaku, 20 year old Kingsley Coman, and 25 year old Douglas Costa, how would you like it?
