Ousman Dembele rumors have been almost incessant in the last three weeks connecting him with moves all across Europe. Bayern Munich were revealed to be interested last week in a rather inconclusive report from L'Equipe, but reports today show they are apparently the front runners to sign the French striker.

A source at Manchester City confirmed to ESPNFC that Bayern are one among many teams that are interested in Dembele this summer, including Manchester City, Barcelona, Juventus, and Monaco. The source confirmed that of that set the Bavarians are the one's making the most in roads having scouted him frequently this season and having "firmed up their interest". Their offer for Dembele reportedly includes for his purchase this summer before being loaned back to Rennes next season.

If this move comes to fruition, It's hard not to like it given the dramatic success of young talents coming out of France in the last 2-3 years. This includes the likes of Kingsley Coman, Riyad Mahrez, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang just to name a few and points towards Ligue 1 clubs being one of the prime shopping producers of young dynamic talent these days. Given that Ousman Dembele is only 18, you can probably add him to that list.
