Following their dramatic comeback victory against Juventus midweek in the UEFA Champions League, Bayern Munich return to the field on Saturday to take on FC Köln. Bayern have double the points that Köln has so far this season, 66 to 33.
The squad is likely to see some rotation, and Pep Guardiola may roll out a lineup similar to that which Bayern played last weekend. Expect to see Mario Götze return to the starting lineup, and perhaps we'll get another appearance from a wild Juan Bernat.
In the return fixture during the Hinrunde, Bayern won their 1000th Bundesliga with a resounding 4-0 victory over Köln. With this match being the only thing between Bayern and the international break, Bayern will grind through the game to get to their two weeks off.
Borussia Dortmund visit Augsburg this weekend, so Bayern can't expect BVB to not pick up all three points. The lead is only five points at the moment, and Bayern can't afford to let the lead slip.
Once the lineups are released, this thread will be updated.
