Even though he wasn't called up for Germany's senior team, Joshua Kimmich will be playing international football during this break. The Bayern Munich midfielder/defender has been called up by Horst Hrubesch for Germany's U-21 qualifying campaign.

Germany's U-21 team is remarkably filled with Bundesliga stars. Kimmich will be joined by Leroy Sane, Leon Goretzka, Max Meyer, Julian Weigl, Timo Werner, Maximilian Arnold, Julian Brandt, and Marc Stendera.

Germany are currently sitting at their qualifying group, three points ahead of Austria. With only five more matches remaining in qualifying, Germany are well on their way to securing an automatic spot in next summer's 2017 UEFA European U-21 Championship
