When your team is involved, a draw is an exciting event. With the figureheads of European soccer gathering in Switzerland on Friday, the draw for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League will take place. Bayern Munich will learn their fate just two days after ousting Juventus from the competition.
The options are wide and varied from the mighty Barcelona to the "I WANT THIS DRAW!" teams of Benfica and Wolfsburg. In a perfect world, Bayern will be able to avoid the reigning European champions until the final, but the route to the Champions League Title likely goes through Barcelona, once again.
Pep Guardiola is facing the the possibility of drawing his old team (Barcelona) or his new team (Manchester City).
However, the biggest question entering this draw is who will be hosting the event? When Gianni Infantino was elected as the new FIFA President, UEFA appointed Theodore Theodoridis to the General Secretary position. Is he going to provide the same pizzazz as Infantino? We'll see.
