Bayern Munich are taking no chances at the Allianz Arena. Their indomitable fortress is made all the strong by Pep Guardiola's attacking formation and their lineup to take on Juventus FC is no exception.
While Kingsley Coman who provided three assists on the weekend is on the bench the return of Franck Ribery to the starting eleven in the Champions League feels almost like a hallucinatory dream. His tenacity in one-vs-one situations along with Douglas Costa's on the wings will be key features of Bayern Munich's attack on the Juventus fullbacks.
Attacking the midfield duo of Khedira and Pogba didn't work well in the opening leg with Arjen Robben diving centrally. Guardiola seems instead to be going with pulling apart the Juventus defense for late runs from Arturo Vidal and open play crosses into Thomas Müller.

While it is definitely odd to see Thiago on the bench after this last weekend's masterful performance against Werder Bremen, Bayern Munich are going to need the physical power of Arturo Vidal in the middle. Expect him to come on late in almost any situation to either kill the game with possession or in conjunction with Kingsley Coman if Bayern Munich end up chasing a result.
