Danny Blind has called up a 28 man squad ahead of two upcoming friendlies for the Netherlands against France and England. Bayern Munich winger and Netherlands captain Arjen Robben receives another call-up as the Dutch look to rebuild their squad following their incredibly disappointing Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
Robben has declined suggestions that he should retire from international football and focus all of his efforts on Bayern. Perhaps being handed the captain's armband has led Robben to feeling responsibility of "not abandoning" his country in their time of need.
The Netherlands will play at the Amsterdam Arena on March 25 against France before traveling to London to take on England on March 29 at Wembley Stadium.
