Great news!

Bayern Munich received from good news on the injury front. In Monday's training session at Säbener Straße, Franck Ribery returned to the field for the first time since December.

Ribery came off at halftime during Bayern's Champions League match away to Dinamo Zagreb at the beginning of December. He's been on the sideline rehabilitating his injury ever since. Zagreb was only his second appearance of the season, having been out since the previous March.

"It's nice that Francky's back," Arjen Robben said about his Robbery partner. "We need him. We have difficult but wonderful months ahead of us."

With Kingsley Coman and Douglas Costa performing so well on the field, having a healthy Robben and Ribery puts Bayern in a position of having four players that can put in a world class shift when called upon. However, it remains to be seen if Pep Guardiola will favor the Coman-Costa partnership out wide over Robbery when Bayern are playing in the big games.
