The lineups have been released.

Pep Guardiola has named his starting lineup for Bayern Munich's trip to the BayArena to take on Bayer Leverkusen, and it is what we thought it was going to be. Well, except for one notable exception.

Thoams Müller has not found himself in the starting lineup for Bayern on the day, with Pep deciding to go with a front attacking four of Robert Lewandowski, Kingsley Coman, Arjen Robben, and Douglas Costa.

Bayern Munich Starting XI: Manuel Neuer; David Alaba, Holger Badstuber, Joshua Kimmich, Philipp Lahm; Xabi Alonso, Arturo Vidal; Kingsley Coman, Arjen Robben, Douglas Costa; Robert Lewandowski

Substitutes: Tom Starke, Thiago Alcantara, Rafinha, Juan Bernat, Sebastian Rode, Thomas Müller

With Müller and Thiago Alcantara starting the match as substitutes, it gives Bayern much more attacking firepower off of the bench for Pep to sprinkle into the match as he sees fit.

Expect to see Philipp Lahm and David Alaba to take turns pushing high into the midfield adding to the attack, leaving a back three when Bayern are in possession.
