Twenty points separate first place Bayern Munich and eighth place Wolfsburg. While Die Wölfe haven't been in the best of forms since the return from the winter break, they are currently riding a three match unbeaten run, including a 3-2 victory over Gent in the UEFA Champions League.
Bayern are coming off of Tuesday's 2-2 draw in Turin against Juventus in their Champions League Round of 16 tie. Pep Guardiola's side stormed out to an impressive first half making Juve look rather pedestrian. However, the Italians fought back and earned a draw on the day, leaving everything to play for in Munich.
The last time Bayern and Wolfsburg teams met in the Bundesliga, fans were treated to one of the most magical performances in the history of the game. Robert Lewandowski came on as a second half substitute and proceeded to drop five goals on Wolfsburg. Relive that moment here.
The trip to Wolfsburg marks the start of a busy week for Bayern. They'll play Mainz at the Allianz Arena midweek before a weekend showdown with second place Borussia Dortmund.
Once the lineups are released, this thread will be updated.
