Holger Badstuber shirt tribute was teammates' idea

Holger Badstuber was personally greeted by club CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge back at Säbener Straße, who gave some insight into the remarkable chemistry that makes Bayern Munich such a great club.

Holger Badstuber was back at the team headquarters on Säbener Straße for the first time after breaking his ankle at practice three days ago. The occasion was some physiotherapy - and a special appearance on FCB.tv (summarized on the club's official website).

In fact, Badstuber was greeted in the studio by the club CEO himself, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who personally wished him a speedy recovery. Rummenigge said, "What I like about Holger is that he immediately gets down to business again with optimism."

Rummenigge also commented on the wonderful gesture by Badstuber's teammates, who wore t-shirts in his honor at Bayern Munich's match against Augsburg this past weekend - Pep Guardiola wore his in fact for the entire match. Rummenigge said, "It was the team's idea. This team ticks magnificently; they have a first-rate attitude. They don't mourn, they play well and win."

The team also treated Badstuber to a surprise video greeting. Rafinha jokingly told him, "Holger, I can play center-back, too! But it'd be better if you came back!"
