After a another two months on the sidelines thanks to an injury, Franck Ribery is set to make his return to the Bayern Munich squad for Sunday's match against Augsburg. The French winger has only appeared in two matches since last March.
Ribery initially injured himself last spring in the Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk, in an ankle injury that never wanted to heal properly. Then, in only his second match since returning from the ankle injury, Ribery injured his thigh against Dinamo Zagreb in December and has been out of action ever since.

In a video posted on Bayern's YouTube channel, Ribery said that he is prepared to start playing immediately.
"I'm ready, and I am at 100%. Everything is looking good, and I've been together with the team since Monday now. The coach has to decide what he wants to do with me now."
While Ribery is very unlikely to find himself in a starting role against Augsburg, a late substitute appearance is likely the way that he'll start getting himself back into the team. With the performances so far this season from Douglas Costa and Kingsley Coman (plus the return of Arjen Robben), Ribery has his work cut out for him to make it back into the first eleven.
