In the race to see which side could lose more players due to injury, Juventus is rallying to make a late push to overtake Bayern Munich. The Italian side announced on Tuesday that defender Giorgio Chiellini would miss the next three weeks due to an injury to his right leg.

From the Juventus website:

Missing out on this morning's session was Giorgio Chiellini, who underwent a series of tests after departing the action towards the end of last weekend's clash at the Stadio Matusa. These revealed a torn soleus muscle in his right leg, an injury that is expected to keep him out for up to 20 days.

While Bayern have had their fair share of injuries this season, Juve are making a strong late push to challenge for just as many injuries. First, it was Mario Mandzukic's hip. Then, it was Sami Khedira's hamstring and Martin Caceres's Achilles. Now, it's Chiellini's leg.

Will either team lose another player before the first leg on February 23?
