Bayern Munich have agreed in principle to sign both Niklas Süle and Sebastian Rudy from Hoffenheim next summer, according to a new report from Bild. The club expects signatures to be completed soon, most likely once the winter transfer window opens.

Süle is the “next big thing” among Germany defenders. He’s really come into his own over the last year and a half, including a stellar Olympics where Germany won the silver medal. The hulking centerback has a current deal through 2019 with Hoffenheim, and is expected to cost Bayern around €25 million.

Rudy, on the other hand, would be an excellent back up midfielder and right back for Bayern. The 26 year old will be able to leave Hoffenheim on a free transfer this summer, and that makes him a very appealing transfer for Bayern.

Bild reports that Rudy will sign a contract until 2020 but Süle’s contract length is still up in the air.
