Robert Lewandowski has been called up to Poland’s squad for two upcoming matches. The Bayern Munich striker will look to regather his good form in two matches, including a World Cup Qualifier against Romania.
The weight of scoring all the goals falls on the shoulders Lewandowski with Arkadiusz Milik out. We know that he can carry that burden. His form may have been a bit up and down so far this season, but when he’s on form, he’s impossible to stop.
Poland are tied on points with Montenegro at the top of Group E. Montenegro will be play bottom of the table Armenia where they should take all three points. Poland needs a win to keep the pace. This is a very winnable group, but if they fall behind early, they’ll be playing catch-up until the final round.
Poland will play Romania in Bucharest on November 11 and Slovenia in Wroclaw on November 14.
