Bayern Munich’s 2016 Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday, November 25. The event is a big opportunity for the club to lay out to their shareholders how they have done over the last calendar year financially and sporting-wise.
Obviously, the biggest known event to take place at this year’s AGM will be the re-election of Uli Hoeneß as Bayern’s President. Karl Hopfner has been Bayern’s President since the extraordinary AGM in May 2014, when he was elected to replace an on-his-way-to-prison Hoeneß.
The other big deal that could go down at this year’s AGM is the announcement of a contract extension for a certain Poland international named Robert Lewandowski. There are few better opportunities to make that announcement to the world, if a deal has been reached.
Luckily, Bayern will be streaming the event on their YouTube and Facebook pages. We’ve embedded the YouTube stream below. The live stream should start around 1:00 pm EST.
