Finding creative ways to respond to a big loss is important for championship teams. After Saturday’s 0-1 loss to Borussia Dortmund, Bayern find themselves in second place in the Bundesliga and their Champions League group. This adds a little extra pressure to the match.

Nobody’s debating whether or not Bayern is a superior team to Rostov. That’s understood. However, a trip to Russia is never easy, and Bayern will need a victory to keep up with Atletico Madrid at the top of the group.

Bayern can rest a few players before they take on Bayer Leverkusen this weekend at the Allianz Arena. With five more games in the next three weeks, Ancelotti needs to keep his men fresh and ready to go.

We asked three of our writers to predict what lineup Ancelotti will play against Rostov.

Predicted lineups

Phillip

Costa - Lewandowski - Robben
Kimmich - Vidal - Thiago
Alaba - Hummels - Boateng - Rafinha

Ryan

Thiago - Sanches - Kimmich

Who do you think Carlo Ancelotti is going to start against FC Rostov in Wednesday’s Champions League match?
