There’s a huge match going down at Signal Iduna Park this weekend that you may have heard about. It features Bayern Munich traveling to the northwest of Germany to take on Borussia Dortmund.
Bayern managed a 2-0 victory over Dortmund back in August during the 2016 DFL Supercup. After a tightly contested 58 minutes, Arturo Vidal broke open the scoring, finishing his own rebound. A second Bayern goal would put the match away and see Carlo Ancelotti’s men lift their first trophy under the Italian manager.
It was generally expected that Dortmund would be the strongest challenge to Bayern this season, but the Bavarians currently have a six point lead over their rivals. A win to take a nine point lead over Dortmund before the end of November would certainly make the mood more jovial around Säbener Straße.
We asked three of our writers to predict what lineup Ancelotti will play against Hoffenheim.
Predicted lineups
Victor
Kimmich - Alonso - Thiago
Alaba - Hummels - Boateng - Lahm
Neuer

George
